The truth behind The Salted Posie is probably not what most people expect.
I didn't have some glamorous entrance into jewelry design. I had a hobby I genuinely loved, a weakness for gemstones and color, and enough tiny beads to cover every available surface in my house.
Then I realized this thing I loved could also become a way for me to love people.
That was the part that changed everything.
I love Jesus. For a long time, I asked Jesus how He could use a regular girl like me. And over time, the answer became pretty simple: love people. His people. Plant seeds. Be willing to go where He puts me.
And somehow, jewelry became one of the doorways He opened for me. It gives me a reason to meet people I may have never met otherwise. To encourage someone, pray for someone, make someone feel seen, and maybe plant a seed of faith I'll never get to watch grow.
I grew up watching my parents love people well, give back, do the right thing, and quietly show up for others. My mom and dad always led me to the foot of the cross, and they also showed me what being a servant for Christ looks like in real life.
I haven't always gotten it right, and I know I'll stumble along the way. But The Salted Posie keeps me rooted in the kind of life I want to live. I want to pick up my cross every. single. day.
So, when I say I want The Salted Posie to be about loving people well, that isn't just brand language. The jewelry, the creativity, the opportunities, the people I get to meet, even the fact that I get to wake up and do any of this at all, none of it is really mine to take credit for. This isn't about fame or money.
I want to build something beautiful, yes. I want to be successful, yes. But I want to hold all of it loosely and remember who it belongs to.
All glory to God.
If The Salted Posie grows, I pray that growth to give me more opportunities to love people, pray for people, plant seeds, and point people to Jesus.
